- September, 2010: My story “Ditz Alert” was selected by Michael Solender for publication in his chapbook “Dog Days of Summer 2010!” Check out Michael’s post about the chapbook with an interview with the winner, Sam Adamson, and then you can check out my story on page 43 with this free download:
- August, 2010: My story “Halloween Guests” has been published in the “Best of FridayFlash – Volume 1″ anthology. You can purchase this volume as an e-book from Smashwords and a paper edition will be available in the future.
- August, 2010: My story “The Request” was one of two selected for the “Soft Whispers” in their “Pic 1k” contest. It will appear in the next issue and you can also read it on their site.

- May, 2010: My story “The Foot of the Bridge“ was one of two selected for the “Soft Whispers” Issue #4 in their “Pic 1k” contest. You can also read it on their site.

- March, 2010: My story “Waiting for Spring“ won first place in the Write On February Challenge and is published on their site.
- March, 2010: My essay “Surprise Endings: The Good, The Bad and The Ugly” was published as a finalist in the Publetariat Anniversary Contest. Based on reader votes (unique page views), I placed second in the contest. The comments for the post are as interesting as the post itself – check the post comments on the Publetariat site and thecomments when the post originally appeared on “Inspired By Real Life.”
- December, 2009: My short story “The Turtle Dove“ was submitted and published in the “12 Days 2009″ Anthology by Jim Wisneski. You can find my story by going to the main 12 Days 2009 site and selecting “all the stories” in the left sidebar and scrolling down to Day 2. You can also purchase the paperback at CreateSpace or on Amazon.
