#TuesdaySerial Collector

Welcome to #TuesdaySerial! This page is the permanent spot for the #TuesdaySerial Collector.

What is #TuesdaySerial?  Well, #TuesdaySerial provides writers of serials an opportunity to promote their serial each week. It is hosted here at “Inspired by Real Life” by yours truly and Tony Noland over at “Landless.” It provides readers of serials a handy place, every Tuesday, to find the latest installments of serials they follow and discover new serials to read.

What is the Collector?  The Collector (i.e., this page) will be open and ready to accept links to your serial stories each Tuesday for 24 hours.  Specifically, it will be open from 12amEST (that’s eastern standard time in the U.S., for our international visitors) Tuesday until 11:59pmEST Tuesday.

On Wednesday (the following day), I’ll compile the list for distribution, although you can always come to this page and take a peek at the stories that have been contributed thus far, although at some point after the collector closes, the collector for the following week will be posted in advance.  You can always find past #TuesdaySerial reports archived here.

Still not sure exactly what #TuesdaySerial is or you’d like to see some more specifics?  Please hop over to the Guidelines page (which also includes an FAQ) and then come back and see me here. I’ll wait. {patiently drumming fingers on the desk}

Also, be sure to follow our Twitter account @TuesdaySerial and create a column to keep an eye on the #TuesdaySerial hashtag for all the latest scoop.  You can also follow along over at the #TuesdaySerial page at “What The Hashtag.”

OK, if it’s Tuesday, then add your links below! :-)

Note (Instructions have changed!):

  • For the “Link Title”, please enter your story title, episode number (if appropriate) and byline, meaning your name or pen name.  Optionally, you may also enter a genre or very brief description.  For example: The Cappuccino Chronicles, Part 3 by P.J. Kaiser – A tale of horror about caffeine withdrawal.
  • If this is your first time joining us OR if you are a regular and starting a brand new serial, then please put “DEBUT” after your title and byline, for example, The Tortellini Tale, Part 1 by P.J. Kaiser – DEBUT
  • Likewise, if you are posting your final installment of your series, please mark it with “Conclusion.”
  • For the “Link”, please enter the complete link including “http://”

Special note:  The linky does not support quotation marks or apostrophes, so please don’t put them in your entry.  Most other symbols should be okay.

Thanks for participating!

- Tony & P.J.
